UPDATE! Back in Deal (but not from tomorrow)...

Went for bike ride and swim already this mornin... now watching the rugby. Weather has been glorious ... Back on retreat next couple of weeks plus friends wedding in Devon. Should be good... Excited to go on bit of a road trip in west country. Am very skinny right now (57.8kg last time I weighed!) but i feel amazing. Some incredible pics from Deal (my hometown) this last weekend...

Fittest i have been since i was in the rugby team at prep school when i was 13! Long time ago. Plus vitamin c high dose def giving me some mad energy... Lets hope it is giving the tumours a hard time too! Really hoping scan at end of November will show some stability of disease finally. At moment lung disease is marching on slowly but not without threat. according to last scan at least ...scary but just try to keep moving forward and not taking too seriously what my oncologist says. Her prognosis is just so depressing and just shows how limited the  conventional response is. Chemo or nothing! Rubbish...

So much to think about, or feel more like. Too much thinking never helped anyone if you ask me, its my intuition i am trying to tap into. Private yoga classes with the wonderful Loretta, acupuncture, etc all helping. Really learn what my body needs when it needs it. workin on that with funds and various treatment i am able to do with it. The home sauna and ozone is feeling AMAZING every morning... this is me in Brighton in 'the tank' (sorry bout the grim face!). The one I have at home is similar but more like a tent... still bloody hot!!!

Some pics from my 3 weeks of treatment in Brighton paid for most generously by some of YOU (see below). Sorry no pics of me being intravenous'd! YUCK!!!

15,000GBP REACHED!!! OMG!!!! (update)

Total flippin' A-MAY-ZING! Thank you all so much for your efforts spreading the word (i take my hat off to social media for the first time, 15,000 pounds in 5 days is just crazy!) & fr all your wonderful donations and messages. Truly touching and I have already been actioning some of the things I wanted to get done treatment wise. I have also ordered the home ozone/hyperthermia kit for the princely sum of 1400GBP (!!!) so I can now do that every day! INCREDIBLE! (throw that evil cancer AWAY!). I recently saw my oncologist with my latest scan which shows the lung tumours still steadily growing (progonisis 3 months to 5 years according to her!) so this money really is becoming more and more essential... chemo alone will not work. even she admitted that. so, here goes...

HOLISTIC TREATMENTS FULL SPEED AHEAD!

The first 3 weeks treatment bill of 6000+ GBP will soon be refunded back to my dear mother sometime very soon from the kind folks at the YesToLife offices using my funds raised (that YOU raised! wow!!!) so that's really just wonderful. Since my diagnosis had to pay for my original privately done scans, early holistic therapies and a private operation to reverse my colostomy (not a fun time, I am still suffering from the repercussions of somewhat) totalling well over 7000GBP plus all the other necessary foods and supplements I have needed thus far, so this rebate for her is a godsend! Thank you all!!! I also now have all the requisite items of equipment for my kitchen of health (thats health not death you ready-meal-lovers!!): masticating juicer, slow cooker, nut grinder, etc and all the organic vegetables (YUM YUM YUM) I can get down me (though I am only allowed the green ones really due to sugar content!). Another big cost the burden of which is now gone is for my daily vitamin c at 7 pounds per day (i take up to 7000mg of the wonderful immune boosting stuff!). I am now on about 40+ pills a day PLUS 40 or so B17 full apricot kernels, 'natures chemotherapy'... hoping this all helps! phew!

Here's some more info about ozone & hyperbaric oxygen therapy (OR here), for your curiosity. I had been going to the MS Therapy centre in Canterbury for some time before starting the ozone at Vision of Hope. Both seems fantastic and there is no doubt at all that the MS Centre (mainly for MS sufferers of course) is an amazing charitable cause that deserves your support for the support and care it gives people with this debilitating disease... I am planning a 'Pamper Day' in Deal for charity sometime soon, and they will be one of the beneficiaries! There are also plans afoot to do some money-raising events around the world. If you can help please drop me a line!!! anything is a help!!!!more on that soon...

Scan result tomorrow...

I dont have high expectations as these things (vitamin c treatment, etc) take time to take effect but still a bit nervous. always worried the picture my oncologist paints will make me waver in my conviction i am doing the right thing saying no to chemo (for now) ... just HATE going to the hospital these days. each time every single bit of hope i have they seem to manage to crush in seconds... bet she says 'incurable' at least twice AGAIN! they are truly unbelievable... not their fault but the system is just so messed up. so uncaring sometimes... and even the nurses these days arent allowed to get close to the patients to give them what they need to get better or at least be ill with dignity.

only the other day I heard about an 85 year old woman being told she had leukemia, with no relatives there to support her and on the back of several other bad diagnoses she already had over the preceding 10 years. she already knew she was dying and the guy just couldnt resist! what a scumbag...

Rant 01 & a little story to make you laugh or cry

Watch out pioneering doctors, trying to save peoples lives!!!
http://vimeo.com/24821365

This is what the government will do to continue to make money for themselves and their cronies... at any expense. They tried to do the same with Joanna Budwig in Europe, whose simple no-drug protocol has over 90% success rate in her lifetime! This is another story to the one in this inspiring video but its the same the world over - the pharmaceutical companies are  big business, big business controls politics, and of course politics dictates national health policies & spending. no wonder the only research is on chemo, one of if not the most expensive drugs available on the market!

cancer patients be aware. there is a lot more out there than just what 'medical' doctors advise...

this site gave me a huge amount of help!

Went for 'second opinion' at Royal Marsden (top cancer center in the UK allegedly) & all they had to offer were some only 10% chance I am even elegible, miniscule chance of helping, gene-related clinical trials. Classic conversation with moronic gene research worker for which alone made the 3 hour round trip worth while:

Her: Hi, I was told I could take down dome of your details for a possible trial
Me: Ok
Her: So, do you have any history of cancer in your family?
Me: No
Her: So...erm...your ...errr... parents are still alive?
Me: Errr, yeah (like duhhh).
Her: So...erm... no ... And your grandparents?
Me: No. All dead.
Her: And ...erm...no ...errr... cancer ... ? (said very quietly as her obvious stupidity & the futility of this seems to be slowly dawning on her)...
Me: Errrrr (like duuhhhhhhhh). No...
(by now her head is very down and she is quite confused in the most ridiculous fashion, as if somehow she just couldnt help but check I understood the original question but was being incited to my a supernatural power...yet...)
Her: ... and your cousins???...
At this point I think I just spontaneously looked up rolled my eyes... couldnt help myself
Her: (with classic comedic 'look down at clipboard, wiggle clipboard, look up at me then down again') Right... erm... well... I guess thats it then (and she finally upped and walked out)

INCREDIBLE ISN'T IT! This is the kind of person we are trusting UK genetic/cancer research with... WTF!!?!

Beautiful, funky Brighton / vitamin C / FUNDRAISING PAGE ONLINE!

I LOVE BRIGHTON!!! What a fantastic funky, organic-friendly (important when youre not ven allowed some vegetables as they are 'too sugary' - crazy!) & interesting city.

Had my first bio-dynamic egg yesterday... incredible the efforts people are making to be natural (very inspiring)

Damn this stuff is amazing. Highly recommended (though not cheap at around 1GBP a sachet)

Immediately feeling much more alert (when I am not sleeping anyway). Who'd have thought you could take OVER 100g of vitamin c a day... combination of the sachets and the IV. Get that nasty cancer GOOOO!!!

Having the IV 1.5-2 hours per day for the last 2 weeks, but almost done now!!! - always makes me feel progressively crapper (though my left arm doesnt seem to mind the needle so much!) but afternoons in the sun like yesterday (not many) have been glorious, feeling the effects; I even made it into the sea! Lovely!!! The Vision of Hope clinic staff Dr Andre and Ramona are looking after us amazingly anyway...

So, my FUNDRAISING PAGE is online now - thanks so much to the kind folks at Yes To Life for giving me this opportunity & also to Dr Andre for looking over my explanations. Last time I looked was coming up to 2000GBP already! AMAZING!!!

More photos to come... lets hope the sun stays out for my last weekend!

Oh and here you can find some delicious 150% healthy recipes from my nutritionist
http://www.naturalrecipes.co.uk/search_for_recipes.html - she made my week by telling me I can have some raw honey every day. Not much but for a guy with a sweet tooth off sugar entirely its been tough, trust me!!!
